On Sunday evening, September 29, 1929 a meeting was called for the purpose of organizing a Baptist Church in the community of Clearwater, SC.The new church was chartered with sixteen members: William H.P. Faddis, Ezma Haggard, T.E. Blackwell, Dolsie Blackwell, Tillman Beard, Ada Faddis, George Solomon, Lessie Wooten, Maggie Hillman, Rubie Polattey, William Stephens and Effie Stephens.

Jerry passed October, 2022 so is no longer creating beautiful art. But I know he would want everyone to continue enjoying his creations. Jerry was a native of Aiken, South Carolina. He always had an interest in art and retirement provided him the opportunity and time to pursue this interest. He was self-taught and enjoyed working with oil as well as acrylics. He loved the great outdoors and nature. Majority of his paintings are landscapes with light being his trademark feature. He hoped that everyone would enjoy his work as much as he enjoyed creating it. Jerry enjoyed the Aiken, SC Art Guild and was an active member of the North Augusta, SC Artist Guild. Jerry enjoyed entering their shows and the opportunity to learn from other fine...
